Cast Away (Original Title: Cast Away) is a 2000 adventure drama film directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film centers on a FedEx employee who survives a plane crash in the South Pacific and endures a struggle for survival on a deserted island.

Chuck Noland, a systems analyst at FedEx, is aboard a flight en route to Malaysia when the plane crashes. He washes ashore on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean and is forced to live alone for four years. Stripped of the comforts of modern civilization and confronted with harsh environmental conditions, Chuck undergoes profound physical and emotional transformation. After finally escaping the island, he discovers that his life no longer exists as he left it.

Additional scenes were filmed in Los Angeles and Moscow. The film has a runtime of 143 minutes and was released in Türkiye on 23 February 2001. The production budget was $90 million, and the box office gross reached approximately $430 million.
