Nissan Juke, first launched in 2010, is one of the pioneering models in the compact SUV/crossover segment. The second generation (F16), introduced in 2019, transitioned to the CMF-B platform, receiving significant structural and technological updates. The Juke, with its city-focused compact design and the hybrid version introduced in 2022, primarily targets a young user demographic.

Design and Structural Features
The Nissan Juke offers a distinctive design approach with dual-layer headlight placement, V-motion grille, and “flush-mounted” door handles. Despite its compact dimensions (4.2 meters in length), the Juke provides a spacious interior and a class-leading 422-liter trunk capacity for practicality. 19-inch wheels, dual-tone body combinations, and dynamic lines support a sporty appearance.
Engine Options and Performance
In the European market, the Juke is offered with two main engine options:
1.0 DIG-T Petrol (Turbo):
- 3-cylinder, 999 cc
- 114 PS power, 200 Nm torque
- 0–100 km/h acceleration: 10.4–11.1 s (depending on transmission)
- 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission options
Juke Hybrid (2022 →)
- 1.6 liter petrol + 36 kW electric motor + 15 kW starter/generator
- Total system power: 143 PS
- e-Pedal Step and multi-mode intelligent transmission system
- 0–100 km/h acceleration: ~10.1 s
- Average fuel consumption: 4.8–5.2 L/100 km (WLTP)
The Juke Hybrid is the first Juke model to operate with a full hybrid system (HEV) that cannot be externally charged.
Driving Experience
With its compact structure and low center of gravity, the Juke offers agile maneuverability in urban driving. Steering responses are quick, and the suspension has a sporty calibration. The 1.0 engine can be noisy at high revs, while the hybrid version provides a quieter and more linear driving experience. Insulation is considered average for the class, although wind noise can be perceived at highway speeds.
Interior and Equipment
The Juke F16 can be equipped with leather/alcantara seat upholstery, an 8-inch multimedia display (Apple CarPlay/Android Auto), a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, Bose Personal Plus audio system, and ambient lighting. Trim levels such as N-Design and Tekna offer dual-tone combinations and customization options.
