Omar Fayed was born on 4 July 2003. He is an Egyptian national. He plays as a centre-back and is right-footed. He stands 1.92 metres tall.

Omar Fayed won the "Player with the Most Potential" award in the 2022-23 Egyptian Premier League and the "Young Talent of the Season" award at Fenerbahçe during the 2023-24 season. In 2024 he was named the "Best Defender" in the Egypt U23 team.

Omar Fayed finished second with the Egypt U23 team at the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations.

Omar Fayed has represented Egypt in various youth national teams. He played 5 matches and scored 1 goal for the Egypt U20 team in 2023. He was then promoted to the Egypt U23 team and made 8 appearances in 2024.
