“On the Path of Knowledge” is a work authored by the Syrian scholar and educator Abdul Fattah Abu Ghudda. The book narrates the hardships endured and the determination displayed by great scholars of the past in their pursuit of knowledge, illustrated through their exemplary lives. It was first translated into Turkish in 2011 by Erkam Publications.

About the Author

Abdul Fattah Abu Ghudda was born in 1917 in Aleppo, Syria. He graduated from the Faculty of Sharia at Al-Azhar University and specialized in the methodology of teaching Arabic language and literature. In 1961, he began his academic career as a faculty member at the Faculty of Sharia at Damascus University, and later served as a professor at the Faculty of Sharia in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Throughout his life, he authored more than seventy works in the fields of hadith, fiqh, aqeedah, and educational methodology, and passed away in Riyadh in 1997.
