Opel Mokka

Opel Mokka is a model in the B-segment compact crossover SUV category since 2012. The second generation (Mokka B), under the PSA/Stellantis umbrella, was introduced in 2020 and expanded its product range with petrol mild hybrid and fully electric ("Mokka-e") variants.

Design and Structural Features

The Mokka B exhibits a strong character through sharp and angular design lines. The front of the vehicle is completed with a vertical grille and compact LED headlights while the high seating position and short front and rear overhangs offer advantages for urban driving. In the electric variant equipped with a 50 kWh battery the chassis and weight distribution have been optimized.

Engine Options and Performance

• Petrol: 1.2L turbo engine (96 kW/230 Nm)
• Mild hybrid: Electric-assisted variants of the petrol engine
• Fully electric Mokka-e: Equipped with a 100 kW (136 hp) 260 Nm motor and a 50 kWh battery that achieves a WLTP range of approximately 363 km
• The electric variant supports fast charging reaching 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes

Interior and Technology

The cabin is simple and functional in line with current digitalization trends. In the Mokka-e two large screens are placed side by side.

The model is equipped with advanced systems including adaptive cruise control lane keeping assist front emergency braking blind spot warning and a 360° surround view system

Production and Marketing

The Mokka A began production in South Korea in 2012 however since the Mokka B it has been manufactured at the factory in Zaragoza Spain
