Ozan Akbaba is a Turkish actor born on 30 June 1982 in Kars. He graduated from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Akdeniz University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. During his studies, Akbaba developed an interest in theater and began his professional acting career in 2005. The artist actively participates in television series, cinema projects, and theater stages, and is also engaged in other fields such as music composition and screenwriting.
Ozan Akbaba completed his undergraduate education in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Akdeniz University. During his student years, he performed in theater plays, elevating his interest in acting to a professional level. After completing his education, Akbaba adopted acting as his profession, beginning his artistic career in theater and later expanding into cinema and television. He has performed in plays such as Arafta Kalanlar, Gölgeden Işığa Karagöz, Topuzlu, Kadınlar da Savaşı Yitirdi, Ali Ayşe’yi Seviyo, Yanlışlıklar Komedisi, and Othello. He has also participated in projects such as Ramazan Eğlenceleri, Diş Çürükleri Krallığı, Çocuk Parkı, the short film Margret, the project Çöplükteki Ayı, Yollu, and the internet romance film Son Çift.
The artist has composed music for approximately 25 short films and produced music for over 30 promotional films. He also wrote the screenplay for the film Anka, in which he served as screenwriter, actor, and musician.
Ozan Akbaba married producer Buket Arıkan in 2017. The couple had a son in 2018.
