PARS IV 8x8 New Generation Wheeled Armored Vehicle

PARS IV 8x8 is a wheeled armored vehicle developed by FNSS Defense Systems Inc. to meet the demands of modern battlefields and hybrid threat environments. Designed with high mobility, advanced protection systems, and modular mission equipment, the vehicle has been produced to fulfill the technical and operational requirements of friendly and allied forces.

The vehicle’s operational performance is determined by its armor protection level, fire support systems, mobility, and electronic infrastructure. These systems are configured in accordance with contemporary combat concepts, and thanks to its modular design, the PARS IV 8x8 can be adapted for various mission types. Designed for both urban and open terrain operations, the PARS IV 8x8 features advanced suspension and drivetrain systems that enable it to conduct day and night operations under diverse road and weather conditions.

The PARS IV 8x8 provides ballistic, mine and improvised explosive device (IED) protection in compliance with the STANAG 4569 standard. Standard equipment includes an automatic fire suppression system, a CBRN protection system, and 12 smoke grenade launchers. A laser warning system is available as an option, while a fire location detection system is included as standard.

The PARS IV 8x8 is equipped with advanced combat and command and control systems. The driver’s vision system, supported by 360° situational awareness cameras and panoramic periscopes, enables the execution of all mission tasks under armor protection without opening hatches. Standard equipment also includes a battlefield management system, an advanced navigation system, and VHF/UHF radio communication systems. Mission equipment is designed in accordance with MIL STD 1275 and MIL STD 461 standards, and an optional auxiliary power unit (APU) can be integrated.

The vehicle can be fitted with manned or remotely controlled turrets of various types and origins. Integration of anti-aircraft and missile systems is also possible. These capabilities enable the PARS IV 8x8 to be employed in multiple variants including reconnaissance, troop transport, command and control, recovery and repair, and combat roles.
