The red fox is a swift animal with a long tail. Its body length ranges between 90–105 cm, and it weighs approximately 3–14 kg. Its fur is usually reddish, though black and gray shades can also be found. In winter, its coat becomes thicker and softer. These foxes live in forests, fields, deserts, and even cities.

Pups and Feeding
Red foxes raise their pups in dens underground. The pups open their eyes after two weeks. Foxes are fast runners, can jump to high places, and are excellent swimmers!
Red foxes are carnivorous but also consume fruits and vegetables. When they struggle to find food, they bury it in the ground to store it.

Are Red Foxes Safe?
Red foxes are considered "not endangered" since they are widespread globally, meaning their population is currently stable. However, in some areas, their numbers may decrease due to hunting, habitat loss, and diseases.
