Saw 2 (Film)

Saw 2 is a 2005 horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. The film follows the return of serial killer Jigsaw a year later, as he draws Detective Eric Mathews into one of his complex and deadly games with new victims.

The trail of serial killer Jigsaw reappears once again. When Detective Eric Mathews is called to a new crime scene, he realizes the victim is part of one of Jigsaw’s deadly games. Meanwhile, a trap is revealed in which eight people are locked inside a factory and will die within two hours due to a poisonous gas. The victims must follow the clues Jigsaw has given them and endure horrific tests to find the antidote. As Detective Mathews tries to capture Jigsaw, he finds himself trapped within the game. The unfolding events reveal a personal connection between Mathews and Jigsaw, and that the game is far more complex than it first appears. A race against time begins as Mathews struggles to save the hostages and rescue his son from Jigsaw’s grasp.
