Siccîn 8 is a 2025 Turkish horror film written and directed by Alper Mestçi. The eighth installment in the Siccîn series, the film centers on the terrifying supernatural events that unfold after a family sends their mother to a nursing home.

Plot

Fatih, under pressure from his wife Berna, moves his mother Gönül from the family home to a nursing home. However, this decision disrupts the spiritual balance within the house, and soon after, chilling paranormal occurrences begin to manifest. Believing these events are connected to his mother’s relocation, Fatih decides to bring her back home. But the woman who returns is no longer the mother they knew; a different entity has taken possession of the house. The film follows the family’s struggle against this dark presence and the horror they endure.

Thematic Structure

Siccîn 8 is a Turkish horror film written and directed by Alper Mestçi. Produced by Muhteşem Film, the film’s cinematography is by Eren Nayır and the score is composed by Reşit Gözdamla. The film will be released in Türkiye on 6 June 2025, with distribution handled by TME Films.
