TEKNOFEST Pardus Bug Detection and Suggestion Competition

TEKNOFEST Pardus Bug Hunting and Suggestion Competition Error is a competition organized to contribute to the development of Türkiye’s domestic and national operating system Pardus support the free software ecosystem and promote awareness of digital independence. Organized within the framework of Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative in defense aviation and technology the competition aims to introduce young individuals to the culture of free software and transform them into active contributors to the software world.

Aim and Vision

The primary objective of the competition is to encourage the wider and more effective use of free and open source source software in the information technology sector while fostering a community mindset of continuous improvement for these software systems. Participants are expected to report bugs encountered in the Pardus operating system and propose new enhancements. Through this process Pardus becomes more stable secure and user friendly while also expanding the reach of free software awareness.
