TEKNOFEST Robolig Competition

TEKNOFEST Robolig Competition is a prestigious technology contest organized under the vision of National Technology Initiative to accelerate Türkiye’s technology transformation. It aims to support participants’ development in robotics, electronics, and software. The competition seeks to popularize the use of Deneyap Card, which is domestic production, and to diversify its project portfolio in order to support individuals who create technology.

Aim and Scope

The primary aim of the Robolig Competition is to enhance the abilities of individuals from different age groups in designing robotic systems, creating electronic circuits, and developing software, while also fostering participants to become not only consumers but also producers of technology. The competition follows a league format; teams are evaluated based on points earned by completing tasks on the course. By promoting the use of Deneyap Kart, the competition spreads the practice of project development on this platform and thereby serves the vision of “Technological Türkiye.” In this context, Robolig is organized at elementary school, high school, and university levels tailored to different age groups.

Eligibility Criteria

Students from middle school, high school, and university (associate degree, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels) in Türkiye and abroad who are actively enrolled in education may participate. However, open education students are not eligible. Each team must consist of individuals who hold an active student status at the time of application and must meet the educational level requirements of the category they apply for.

Evaluation Process

The competition’s evaluation process consists of four stages:

1. Project Preliminary Evaluation Report
2. Project Detailed Evaluation Report
3. Presentation Scoring (Final)
4. Course Competition Scoring (Final)

Relationship with the National Technology Initiative

The TEKNOFEST Robolig Competition serves the vision of the National Technology Initiative through multidimensional objectives including enhancing individuals’ technical skills, increasing domestic technology production, cultivating qualified human resources, and strengthening the electronic design ecosystem. The spotlight on Deneyap Kart is a direct outcome of this vision, enabling the growth of local and national technological infrastructure through the hands of younger generations.
