After the book's release in 2019, it was named Waterstones' Book of the Year and was shortlisted in the Non-Fiction Lifestyle Book of the Year category at the British Book Awards. The book has sold over 8 million copies worldwide and was translated into Turkish in 2021, published by Mundi Book.
