Cazılar Stream, located within the borders of Özdil Neighborhood of Yomra district of Trabzon, is a recreation area that draws attention with its natural environment and thematic arrangement. It is approximately 38 kilometers from Trabzon city center and approximately 16 kilometers from Yomra district center. The region offers open space use to visitors with its dense vegetation , stream bed and trout facilities located around it. According to local stories, the term “Cazı” means “ witch ” in the Black Sea region and the name of the stream is based on a warning said to prevent children from approaching the stream.
The Cazılar Stream area is suitable for activities such as hiking, camping, nature photography and amateur fishing . Local dishes are served in the restaurants and facilities in the area , and some areas are decorated with witch-themed figures and traditional objects. The area where the stream is located can be reached by private vehicles, and public transportation is limited. Entrance is free, but food and beverage services are charged.
Cazılar Creek, with its natural environment and thematic structure, is considered as a tour route for visitors looking for alternative open-air areas in Trabzon and its surroundings.
