Birth and Nationality

Tuna Aybüke Özel was born on 24 April 2002 in Nevşehir, Türkiye. She is a Turkish citizen. Her surname before marriage was Çetinay.

Club Career Start

Özel began her volleyball career at Büyükçekmece Volleyball Academy. Following her training and development there, she joined the Eczacıbaşı youth system. After achieving success in the youth ranks, she was promoted to the Eczacıbaşı Dynavit A team for the 2022-2023 season.

Positions

Tuna Aybüke Özel plays as a libero in volleyball. This position is a critical role, forming the backbone of the team’s defensive line and responsible for receiving serves and defensive plays.
