YILDIRIMHAN Missile

YILDIRIMHAN is the first intercontinental ballistic missile developed by Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense R&D Center. YILDIRIMHAN, unveiled in Istanbul in 2026, has a range of 6,000 kilometers and a speed range of Mach 9–25.

The system, developed with liquid propellant, uses Nitrogen Tetroxide / Diazot Tetroxide (N₂O₄). YILDIRIMHAN, equipped with four rocket motors, can carry a warhead weighing 3,000 kilograms. With these capabilities, it is a strategic ballistic missile system offering high payload capacity against long-range targets.
