Ankara Abisi Charity Association

Ankara Abisi Charity Association is a humanitarian initiative founded in 2021 by Yasin Oyanık, based on the principle of the hadith: "He who sleeps full while his neighbor is hungry is not one of us." The association was established to expand and organize aid efforts that initially began as individual initiatives. Its primary goal is to improve the living conditions of those in need and strengthen social solidarity.

The association operates on a voluntary basis and carries out aid projects for people of all ages, aiming to deliver direct assistance to those in need. Its fields of activity cover a wide range, including food aid, medical supplies, educational support, school supplies, and household goods. Additionally, assistance for stray animals is among the association's key projects.

Some of the types of aid provided by the association include food package distributions, medical equipment support for disabled and sick individuals, scholarships for students, clothing and toy donations, fuel aid during winter, household goods provision, and psychological support services. During Ramadan, the association enhances its social assistance efforts by distributing toys alongside food packages, prioritizing children's happiness.

Under the leadership of Yasin Oyanık and the association's vice president, Gül Kürkaya, the organization continues to grow daily. With the "Var Bir Hayalim" (I Have a Dream) project, the association, together with volunteers and donors, not only provides individual aid but also aims to raise awareness of social inequalities and take concrete steps to address them.

The aid videos and stories shared by Yasin Oyanık on social media have increased the visibility of the association's efforts and raised public awareness. These activities have amplified the impact of the aid efforts, allowing them to reach more people. Moreover, innovative projects such as "Göz Hakkı Manavı" (Rightful Share Greengrocer) have been introduced to meet the nutritional needs of children.
