History
ASPİLSAN Energy was established on April 2, 1981, in the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone to meet Turkey's energy storage needs. The contributions of philanthropic citizens and organizations from Kayseri played a significant role in the company's foundation, which was aimed at fulfilling the battery and accumulator requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces. ASPİLSAN Energy is one of the companies under the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV), with 98.32% of its shares owned by TSKGV.
In 1985, ASPİLSAN started producing radio batteries, and by 1993, it began manufacturing aviation and helicopter batteries with a Ni-Cd chemical structure. In 2005, the company shifted its focus to lithium-ion battery production. It took a pioneering role in Turkey's energy storage technologies by moving into mass production at its Lithium-Ion Battery Production Facility in the Kayseri Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone, which has a 25,000 square meter closed area.
Batteries and Energy Storage Systems
ASPİLSAN Energy develops battery and energy storage solutions for various sectors. The production range can be summarized under the following main categories:
