Basiret

Basiret is derived from the Arabic root bṣr (بصر), forming the word baṣīra(t) (بصيرة). In Arabic, this term conveys meanings such as “inner insight, intuition, deep understanding.” The related word baṣar (بصر), from the same root, means “visual perception”; thus, basiret carries the metaphorical idea of “seeing with understanding rather than with the eyes.”
