BiP is a communication and lifestyle platform developed by Turkcell engineers. BiP has been serving its users since 4 November 2013. The application, which operates on iOS, Android, and web-based devices, is free and open to all users, not just Turkcell subscribers.

Launched in 2013 to connect with users, BiP reached 18 million downloads and users by 2017, and by the end of 2018 this number had risen to 34 million. In particular, during 2021 when WhatsApp announced an update to its privacy policy in Türkiye, a rapid migration to BiP occurred. By October 2021, BiP’s total downloads had exceeded 87 million. By the beginning of 2024, BiP’s download count surpassed 100 million.
