Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium

Corendon Airlines Park is one of the largest sports complexes in Antalya, completed and opened for service in 2015. This modern stadium, with a capacity of approximately 30,000 spectators, is located in the Meltem district of Antalya and is situated a considerable distance from the Akdeniz University Stadium.

Architectural and Technical Features

Although the stadium follows a classical rectangle football field layout, its exterior form is entirely circular. This design draws inspiration from ancient Mediterranean theatres, and the roof structure stands out for both its aesthetic and functional qualities. The total surface area of the roof is 22,118 m², with 75 percent covered by solar panels panels. These panels generate 7,200 kWh of electricity daily, meeting the stadium’s energy needs and feeding excess power into the city grid.

Sustainability and Technology

Corendon Airlines Park is the first stadium in Türkiye to operate entirely on sun energy, distinguished by its environmentally friendly design. Photovoltaic panels installed on the roof generate 1,400 kW of energy. Additionally, the roof’s high solar transmittance supports healthier growth of the pitch grass.

Comfort and Service Areas

Corendon Airlines Park features six VIP entrances, one presidential box, and 42 VIP boxes. The box areas are equipped with private seating, mini-bars, ventilation systems, and internet access such as. The stadium also includes a 7,500 m² shopping mall area, 29 concession stands, and 14 mosques.

Inauguration and Usage

The stadium’s inauguration took place during the 2015–16 season with a match between Beşiktaş and Antalyaspor. Today, it serves as the home venue for Antalyaspor’s home matches and is also used for various sporting events and other organized activities.
