Destruction

Imhâ has entered Turkish from the Arabic word imḥāʾ (إمحاء), derived from the root mḥw (محا). This word is the masdar form in the ifʿāl pattern of the verb maḥā, which means "to delete, to eliminate, to destroy."

• Law: Used to denote the elimination of legal documents, records, or evidence.
• Military Language: Denotes the complete neutralization of enemy elements or targets.
• Everyday Language: Can be used to describe the destruction of insects, pests, or unwanted things.
• Literature: Appears in texts to convey themes of destruction, elimination, or erasure.
