

Günay Güvenç, born on 25 June 1991 in Neu-Ulm, Germany, began his career in Germany. He started playing in the youth academy of SSV Ulm 1846 before joining the youth setup of Stuttgarter Kickers in 2009, where he took his first steps toward professionalism.
Following his performances in Germany, Günay transferred to Türkiye and played for several clubs:
On 1 August 2023, Günay signed a three-year contract with Galatasaray. He served as a backup goalkeeper and added experience and depth to the squad. He earned playing time during the 2023-2024 season on time occasions.
Günay Güvenç made four appearances for the Türkiye A2 national team. Wearing the Türkiye senior national team jersey remains one of his greatest ambitions.
