PARS III 6x6 Tactical Wheeled Vehicle (TWV)

PARS III 6x6 is a tactical wheeled armored combat vehicle designed for use in both low- and high-intensity combat environments on modern battlefields. Developed by FNSS Defense Systems, the vehicle provides its operators with operational flexibility and superiority through its exceptional mobility, modular protection system, and advanced situational awareness equipment.

The PARS III 6x6 is a tactical wheeled armored combat vehicle with a combat-loaded weight of 25,000 kg, powered by a diesel engine. Designed for a crew capacity of nine personnel, it features a crew-centric interior layout including an ergonomic driver’s cabin. Equipped with one of the most advanced hydro-pneumatic suspension systems in its class, the PARS III 6x6 achieves a very small turning radius thanks to its steerable first and third axles.

The vehicle can integrate various types of manned and remotely operated turret systems and is capable of being transported by land, air, sea, and rail. Its compatibility with C-130-type transport aircraft grants the PARS III 6x6 strategic mobility and rapid deployment advantages.

The PARS III 6x6 has a maximum road speed of 100 km/h and a range exceeding 800 kilometers. It can traverse gradients of up to 60% incline and 30% side slope, and is capable of climbing vertical obstacles up to 0.7 meters high and crossing ditches up to 1.75 meters wide. With approach and departure angles of 50° and 40° respectively, it delivers superior performance in demanding terrain conditions.

The vehicle is fitted with a fully automatic transmission system featuring seven forward and one reverse gear, two high-range transfer cases, and a full six-wheel drive system. A hydraulic brake system with ABS ensures safe braking, while an optional amphibious capability enhances mission versatility. Additionally, a solid disk system allows the vehicle to maintain mobility even after tire blowouts.

The Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) enables the driver to adjust tire pressure according to varying terrain conditions. The height-adjustable, independent double-wishbone hydro-pneumatic suspension system ensures superior traction and high ride comfort across diverse operational environments.

The PARS III 6x6 complies with STANAG 4569 standards for ballistic and mine protection and can be adapted to different protection levels through its modular armor structure. The vehicle provides high-level crew protection via its V-shaped belly hull, underbody plates, and mine-resistant special seats.

Standard equipment includes an automatic fire suppression system, a CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) protection system, and eight smoke grenade launchers. The advanced climate control system maintains the internal cabin temperature at +25 °C even under desert conditions.

The PARS III 6x6 features a modular design compatible with integration of various manned and remotely operated turret systems and missile launchers from different sources. This enables its use in multiple mission configurations ranging from troop transport and reconnaissance vehicles to command and control platforms and weapon carriers.

Standard mission equipment includes 360° situational awareness camera and periscope systems, driver vision systems, a battlefield management system, navigation systems, VHF/UHF radios, crew internal communication systems, and an optional auxiliary power unit (APU).

The vehicle’s electrical infrastructure meets MIL STD 1275 and MIL STD 461 standards to ensure the safe and reliable operation of all mission equipment.
