Sakarya Lavender Garden

Sakarya Lavender Garden is located within the boundaries of Doğançay Neighborhood, Geyve District, Sakarya Province. It was established by the Eastern Marmara Pass Corridor Agricultural Research Institute, which operates under the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The lavender garden has been developed as a demonstration site to promote the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants in the region. The Sakarya Lavender Garden attracts particular interest from photography enthusiasts during its blooming season. Visitors can walk through the lavender fields and experience a range of visual encounters. The purple blooms of lavender in June and July contribute significantly to nature and rural tourism.
