Formation and Geographical Features

Tazı Canyon was formed by millions of years of erosion processes by the Köprüçay River (known as Eurymedon in ancient times). The canyon's side walls reach heights of 200 to 400 meters. The geological structure of the region consists of clay, sandstone, conglomerate, and limestone rocks, which has enabled the formation of karst landforms.
