TEBER-35/50 RCT (Remote Controlled Tower)

The TEBER-35/50 UKK, developed by FNSS, is an advanced remote-controlled turret system equipped with a medium-caliber automatic cannon, designed for integration into wheeled and tracked armored vehicles. Controlled by the gunner and commander from within the vehicle, the system is capable of effective operational performance under modern combat conditions thanks to its high target detection and fire control capabilities.

Technical Specifications

The TEBER-35/50 UKK is armed with a 35 mm caliber dual-feed automatic cannon as its main weapon. This cannon has a rate of fire of 200 rounds per minute and is capable of firing various types of ammunition. The dual-chamber ammunition box carries a total of 115 ready rounds. The main weapon is equipped with high-explosive, armor-piercing and programmable air-burst ammunition. These ammunition types provide effective engagement capability against diverse targets such as infantry in open areas and fortified structures.

The secondary armament consists of a 7.62 mm caliber electrically or pneumatically driven machine gun with a capacity of 1,000 rounds, providing sustained fire power. The primary advantages of the electrically driven machine gun include an electric mechanism that prevents jamming and low levels of harmful propellant gas emission after firing.

Mechanical and Electronic Features

The turret is equipped with an electrically driven azimuth drive offering 360° unlimited rotation and an electrically driven elevation drive providing an elevation range of -10° to +45°. Thanks to a two-axis electrically driven stabilization system, high accuracy is maintained even while the vehicle is in motion. The maximum rotation speed of the turret exceeds 1 radian per second on both axes.

The fire control system incorporates advanced thermal and daylight cameras, a laser rangefinder, an independent commander’s sight and automatic target tracking. Features such as electronic image stabilization, moving target detection, electronic zoom, manual fire control and automatic ballistic calculation enhance the operational capabilities of the gunner and commander. Additionally, the system includes a low-ammo warning system and control algorithms for restricted firing zones.

Dimensions and Weight

The TEBER-35/50 UKK weighs approximately 3,000 kg and measures 2.59 m in width, 0.93 m in height and 2.64 m in length. The ring gear diameter is 1,700 mm and the rotation radius is 3,970 mm. The turret provides all-around ballistic protection compliant with STANAG 4569 standards and is compatible with optional smoke grenade integration.
