Trabzon Castle

The earliest construction phase of Trabzon Castle dates back to the Roman period. Architectural Features

Trabzon Castle is divided into three main sections: Upper Hisar, Middle Hisar, and Lower Hisar.

Lower Hisar: Composed of walls extending down to the coast, it played a significant role in the defense of the port during its time.
