With five weeks remaining until the end of the season, the matches of the 33rd week of the Trendyol Süper Lig have reshaped the standings at both the top and bottom of the table. Rams Başakşehir came close to scoring in the 5th minute when Figueiredo met Crespo’s low cross inside the six-yard box, but goalkeeper Lis made the save. In the 24th minute, Göztepe responded with a promising attack: Romulo advanced down the right and found Ahmet Ildız at the top of the box. His shot deflected off the defense and fell to Romulo again, whose follow-up was denied by goalkeeper Muhammed Şengezer.

The opening goal came in the 25th minute. However, in the 86th minute, Romulo’s shot was parried by the keeper, and after collecting the rebound, he squared the ball across goal for Emerson, who calmly slotted it home. The match ended 4–1 in favor of Göztepe.
