Türkiye Maarif Foundation

Türkiye Maarif Vakfı is one of Türkiye’s key institutions in international education important. Foundation was established on 17 June 2016 by Law No. 6721 adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Law and is the only institution authorized to directly open educational institutions abroad on behalf of the Republic of Türkiye outside the Ministry of National Education. It aims to promote international cooperation in education and represent Türkiye in the global education sector activity.

Maarif Schools aim to enhance student academic performance through examinations and organizations such as the “Maarif Entrance Exam” (MAGİS), the “Inter-School Mathematics Organization” (MISMO), and the “Inter-School Science Organization” (MISSO). Additionally, through sports games and international tournaments, the foundation provides opportunities for students to develop their athletic and social skills.

Istanbul Education Summit

One of the foundation’s key activities is the Istanbul Education Summit, initiated in 2021.
