Vialand Theme Park

Vialand Theme Park opened in Istanbul in 2013 as Türkiye's first thematic entertainment park. The project was designed as a mixed-use lifestyle complex integrating entertainment shopping and accommodation. The complex includes a theme park a shopping mall a hotel and performance areas.

Geographical Location

Vialand is located on the European side of Istanbul within the boundaries of the Eyüpsultan and Gaziosmanpaşa districts. It is situated between the TEM highway and the E-5 road and benefits from a central transportation network.

Investment and Ownership

The project was developed through a partnership between Gürsoy Group and Via Properties. The total investment cost amounted to 1 billion 150 million TL. Ownership is maintained by Gürsoy Group.

Vialand Theme Park consists of thematic zones divided by age groups. Each thematic zone is supported by architectural design sound effects costume designs and vehicle themes.

Nefeskesen

• A roller coaster type ride.

Adalet Kulesi

• A free-fall tower.
• Height: 50 metres.
• Riders experience 5G forces.
• Capsule capacity: 20 people.

Viking (Splash Coaster)

• A water-based ride.
• Features a 45° descent ramp.
• Plunges 15 metres into water.
• Includes water splashes for visual spectacle.

Çılgın Nehir

• A rafting-style water ride.
• Uses an artificial river system.
• Includes two waterfall passages.
• Boat capacity: 6 people.

Fatih’in Rüyası

• A historical animatronic show unit.
• Area: 4 000 m²
• Number of robots used: 146
• Water volume: 1 000 m³
• Tells the story of the 1453 Conquest of Istanbul.

King Kong

• A 15-metre-tall animatronic figure.
• Transports visitors inside a bus.
• Creates the sensation that the bus is being captured by King Kong.

Minik Kaşifler

• A gondola-style ride designed for children.
• Canal length: 160 metres.
• Introduces world cultures during the journey.

Sihirli Oda

• Features optical illusions.
• Uses mirrors angled surfaces and inclined floors to alter perception of space.

Shopping Mall Structure and Brands

The Vialand Shopping Mall spans 300 000 m² and houses more than 200 local and international stores offering products in electronics clothing cosmetics and home décor.

Dining Areas

The complex includes restaurants representing various cuisines and fast food chains. Mobile food kiosks also operate within the theme park zones.

Event Spaces

• Concert area capacity: 10 000 people
• Outdoor events stage performances and festivals are organized here.

The “Vialand Palace Hotel” is located within the theme park complex.

• Both free and paid parking options are available.

Transportation

Vialand’s proximity to the TEM highway and E-5 road facilitates easy access by private vehicle. Directional signage is widespread throughout Istanbul.

• Metro: Integrated service route connected to the M7 line.
• Bus: Regular bus lines operate from Eyüpsultan center.
• Free shuttles: Agreed shuttle services are provided from selected neighborhoods to the mall.

Admission Fees and Operating Hours

As of 2025 Vialand Theme Park admission fees are as follows:

• Adult (13 years and older): 999 TL
• Child (4–14 years): 549 TL
• Toddler (0–3 years): Free
• Annual Pass: 2 999 TL

The park operates from 11:00 to 21:00 during the summer season and from 10:00 to 18:00 during the off-season.
