Aykut Kocaman was born on April 5, 1965, in Sakarya. His football career, which began in 1984 with Sakaryaspor, continued until the year 2000. He won trophies with Sakaryaspor and Fenerbahçe A.Ş. In 2001, he continued his career as a head coach.


As a coach, he had successful seasons, winning trophies with Konyaspor and Fenerbahçe A.Ş. Most recently, on October 4, 2021, he worked as the head coach of İstanbul Başakşehir FK. He is not currently managing any club.


Playing Career

Aykut Kocaman started his football career in 1984 with Sakaryaspor. During his time at Sakaryaspor, he won the 1986-1987 TFF 1. Lig and the 1987-1988 Turkish Cup. After lifting these trophies, Kocaman transferred to Fenerbahçe and continued his career in the Süper Lig.


He spent eight seasons at Fenerbahçe, winning several titles:

  • Sincan Belediyesi Ankaraspor
  • Fenerbahçe A.Ş.

His last coaching role was at Rams Başakşehir Football Club in 2021, after which he stepped away from managerial duties.

During his four seasons at Fenerbahçe, Aykut Kocaman became the coach with the most matches managed in the club's history. Under his leadership, Fenerbahçe:
