Champions of Export in the Defense and Aerospace Industry in 2025

Defense and Aerospace Industry 2025 Export Champions, as determined by export performance in 2025 and announced on January 30, 2026, defense and aviation. The awards were presented during a ceremony held as part of the 5th Global Strategies in Defense and Aerospace Industry Conference.

General Assessment and Ceremony Information

The 2025 defense and aerospace export champions were announced by Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, and President of the Presidency of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün.

The ceremony took place on January 30 in Antalya during the 5th Global Strategies in Defense and Aerospace Industry Conference, based on 2025 export performance. Türkiye’s total exports in 2025 reached USD 273.4 billion, with the defense and aerospace sector significantly increasing the country’s share of high-tech exports.

ARCA Defense was awarded both the Defense and Aerospace Industry Export Champion and the Weapons Systems and Ammunition Category Export Champion titles based on evaluations by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).

The company was established in 2020 and is owned by Özgür Rodoplu, İsmail Terlemez, and Savaş Balçık. ARCA Defense produces artillery ammunition and rockets in various calibers. General Manager İlknur Dutak Pamir stated during the award ceremony: “Being ranked first in defense and aerospace exports and in the weapons systems and ammunition category is a great honor for our company.”

Weapons Systems and Ammunition

In this category, ARCA Defense ranked first, Samsun Yurt Defense second, and Machine and Chemical Industry Inc. (MKE) third. The SME award was given to Bahtiyar Av Materials.

Rocket and Smart Missile Systems

ROKETSAN ranked first in rocket and missile product exports in 2025. The SME award was given to Sinerji High Technology.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Group

In this category, Baykar ranked first, TUSAŞ second, and STM third. The SME award went to BMS.

Aircraft and Engines

TUSAŞ achieved first place in the aircraft and engines category. TEI ranked second and Alp Aviation third. The SME award was given to AKSA Advanced Composites.

Land Platforms

In the land vehicles category, Otokar ranked first, Nurol Machinery second, and BMC third. The SME award was won by MENATEK.

Military Electronic Systems, Radars, and Simulators

ASELSAN ranked first in military electronic systems, radars, and simulators. Boğaziçi Defense ranked second.

Military Naval Platforms

In this category, ASFAT ranked first, HAVELSAN second, and Meteksan Defense third. The SME award was given to AKANA Marine Technologies.
