Deliklitaş Beach (Giresun)

Deliklitaş Beach is a natural and tourist coastal area located on the Black Sea coast, in Karaburun Village of the Görele District in Giresun Province, within Türkiye’s Black Sea Region. It is situated approximately five kilometers from the center of Görele District and is favored by visitors and tourists from Giresun and neighboring provinces during the summer months. The beach is distinguished by a large natural hole in the center of the Deliklitaş rock formation, shaped over centuries by the powerful waves and winds of the Black Sea.

The natural features of this Black Sea coastline have shaped the beach. The shoreline consists of accumulated pebbles formed through the erosion and weathering of rocks. The coastal stretch between Görele and Tirebolu exhibits a high cliff structure due to the Sis Mountains extending perpendicularly toward the sea, while small-scale beach areas line the shore. This beach is one of the rare coastal areas along the Black Sea that has preserved its natural state. Although no facilities are present on the site, this absence offers a unique advantage for visitors seeking solitude with nature.
