Güliz Ayla was born on April 27, 1988, in Samsun. In 1998, at the age of ten, she received two years of education in the Theatre and Drama Department of the Samsun Municipal Conservatory. She later moved to Istanbul and was accepted into the Western Music Department of Müjdat Gezen Art Center. While studying there, she performed songs for two musicals written by Müjdat Gezen. This experience enhanced her vocal proficiency and stage presence.

Güliz Ayla began her professional music career as a backing vocalist for artists like Metin Özülkü, Işın Karaca, and Extra Orchestra. During this time, she also performed with a group named Radiolux and took part in the second series of the Doğa İçin Çal (Play for Nature) project, performing a song. Her work as a backing vocalist allowed her to explore various styles within the music industry.

On September 18, 2015, she released her self-titled debut album Güliz Ayla, produced by Sıla Gençoğlu and Efe Bahadır. The album includes nine tracks and is primarily acoustic in sound. The lyrics and music were composed by Ayla, Gençoğlu, and Bahadır. The song Yalvarırım was composed by Yalın. The tracks Olmazsan Olmaz, Benim Olmazsan, and Sevgilim, written and composed by Ayla herself, are also featured on the album. Additionally, a Greek song composed by Christos Dantis with lyrics by Sıla Gençoğlu was included.


The second music video from the album was for the song Bahsetmem Lazım, with lyrics by Sıla Gençoğlu and music by Christos Dantis. The song reached number five on the Official Turkish Music Chart.

Second Single and Awards

On April 20, 2016, Ayla released her second single İlk Öpücük Benden Olsun, written and composed by Yalın. The music video was directed by Nihat Odabaşı. During the same period, her songs were featured in various TV shows and commercials, including Deli Fişek, which she performed for the TV series Tatlı İntikam.

Second Album and Later Works

In 2017, she released her second studio album Parla. The lead single was Bilirkişi, followed by music videos for Yetmedi mi and Gelsin Öpsün Kalbimi. The final video from the album was for the remix version of Öldür Beni by Ufuk Kevser. In 2019, she released the single Öyle Sev and collaborated with Ege Çubukçu on the track Mıknatıs. That same year, she released the acoustic version of Öyle Sev. Her singles Sarmaşık (2020) and Evdekilere Söyle (2021) were released under Sony Music. In 2021, she also released Bugün Dünden İyi, a song she wrote and performed for the TV series Kardeşlerim.
