Istanbul Toy Museum is a thematic museum located in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, focusing on the history of toys. It was founded on April 23, 2005, by poet and author Sunay Akın. The museum aims to present the historical and sociological traces of childhood culture through toys from different periods and countries.

The museum operates in a historical mansion situated in the Göztepe neighborhood of Kadıköy, Istanbul. The collections are displayed in various themed rooms across the three floors of the building. The Istanbul Toy Museum houses approximately 4,000 toys dating from the 1700s to the 2000s. These toys were acquired from various countries, including Germany, the United States, Japan, France, and the United Kingdom. The collection includes soldier figures, train sets, dollhouses, space-themed toys, and cinema character figures.
Notable items in the collection include:
- 19th-century mechanical toys,
- World War II-era propaganda toys,
- Science fiction figures from the Space Race era.

Beyond being an exhibition space, the museum organizes workshops, creative drama sessions, guided tours, and special day events for children and adults. School visits and guided group tours are also part of the museum’s regular programming.
