History and Architecture

Rami Library was established through the restoration of the Rami Barracks, a historic structure intertwined with İstanbul’s rich heritage. Bearing the architectural traces of the Ottoman era, this historic site has been transformed into a modern library that simultaneously preserves the values of the past and is equipped with today’s technologies. The library’s spacious and airy interiors provide readers with a pleasant working environment.
