In 1986, the foundation reorganized its structure, and in 1992, it expanded its domestic organization by opening offices in Izmir and Ankara. In 1993, the classification service for Turkey's first military ship, TCG Yarbay Kudret, began, and in 1996, it moved from Tophane to the Tuzla Shipyard Area. In 1998, the "Türk Loydu Foundation Economic Enterprise" was established to conduct the foundation's activities. In 2001, it received ISO 17021 accreditation from SWEDAC, becoming the first national organization accredited under this scope. In 2005, it gained the supervisory authority in the MİLGEM Project, and in 2006, it entered the Paris MoU High Performance List. In 2007, IACS membership was set as a strategic goal, and this membership was registered in 2011. In 2014, focusing on R&D efforts, the TL Technical R&D Company was established, and in 2015, a classification agreement for TCG Anadolu was signed. In 2017, the foundation's economic enterprise was transformed into Türk Loydu Conformity Assessment Services Inc.
