Uizard was founded in 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company originally emerged as a machine learning research project called "pix2code," which aimed to automatically convert sketches and drawings into functional digital interfaces. After its official launch in 2018, the company grew rapidly and expanded its user base. In its first funding round, known as Series A, Uizard raised a total of $18.6 million. Today, Uizard is actively used by globally recognized companies such as Adidas, IBM, Samsung, Uber, and Meta. In 2024, it was acquired by Miro Labs, known for its collaboration and design tools.

Technological Features

Uizard’s core technological solutions include Autodesigner, Screenshot Scanner, and Wireframe Scanner. The Autodesigner 2.0 version leverages OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology to enable users to generate digital designs quickly and in real time using simple text commands. With this tool, users can easily modify components, create multi-screen prototypes, and generate new screens and themes.

The Screenshot Scanner converts captured screenshots into editable designs within seconds, significantly accelerating users’ design processes.
