“Seddülbahir 32 Saat” is a TRT-produced miniseries focusing on the resistance at the Seddülbahir Front during the Çanakkale Land Battles. This four-episode production was released in 2016.

The series centers on events that took place on 25 April 1915, the day the land battles of the Çanakkale Campaign began. It portrays the 32-hour defense carried out by 1050 Turkish soldiers under the command of Major Mahmut Sabri against enemy forces that outnumbered them significantly. This resistance depicts the effort to halt the enemy’s advance without external support. The work is based on a real historical event.

“Seddülbahir 32 Saat” is a television production in the action, history, and war genres. It was directed by Yasin Uslu and written by Funda Çetin. Filming took place at five different locations in Çanakkale. The production process lasted approximately eight months, with filming completed over four months. The series employed a large number of extras and featured period-specific props including 750 costumes, 750 firearms, and 16 cannons.

The cast includes İbrahim Çelikkol, Dolunay Soysert, Okan Yalabık, Murat Ünalmış, Uğur Güneş, Gülsim Ali, Hakan Kurtaş, İlker Aksum, Deniz Celiloğlu and Ahmet Mekin.

“Seddülbahir 32 Saat” premiered on TRT 1 on 14 January 2016 and aired weekly on Thursdays until 4 February 2016.
