YILDIRIM-100 is a directed infrared countermeasure (DIRCM) system developed by ASELSAN. It is designed to protect platforms against infrared-guided missiles. Based on advanced electro-optical and laser technologies, this system features a dual-turret configuration. Each turret contains a precision tracking unit and a high-power laser unit. This configuration enables the system to provide effective countermeasures by applying synchronized, multi-band modulated laser beams to threat elements.

YILDIRIM-100 disrupts / confuses the seeker head of heat-seeking missiles targeting air platforms by sending multi-band laser energy, thereby changing the missile's direction. The system is fully compatible with UV/IR-based missile warning systems.
